       Recovozaur is a tool which is designed for every day use mainly for software developers (although it can be used by other categories as well). It can be used to safeguard the working data of a developer automatically. Recovozaur is an automatic archiving tool which tracks a list of items specified by the user, and archives all changes performed on these items. This proves to be very useful for avoiding loss of working data. Recovozaur does not come as an alternate tool to classic version management systems (like CVS, Continuus, PVCS, VSS, etc.). It comes as a complement to this tools in order that the developer is able to recover its data in case of an overwrite/unwanted data change/power fail.

       A free trial is available for download. The trial version will allow you to test the features of Recovozaur while enforcing only one limitation : the number of revisions archived for one file is limited to 20.

  • Content preview for any of the revisions archived for an item. Recovozaur displays in its preview panel the archived content for a revision that the user selects. This combined with the information provided for every revision that is archived (date, time, size and checksum) makes it very easy to track down what was changed and which version must be recovered.


  • Integration in shell context menu for easier configuration. Recovozaur integrates itself into the shell context menu). When right clicking a file in the operating system a new menu is displayed which allows adding the file to Recovozaur's tracking list or viewing the stored revisions for that file.
